My name is Kimberly Turbin
I’ve dedicated my time to patient advocacy for over 10 years
passionate advocate for
maternal and infant rights.
She has also taken on the
role of an expert patient
advocate and peer educator,
sharing her
experiences and knowledge
to support and empower
others. Her journey into
advocacy began in 2013,
after the birth of her son. It
was during this experience
that she confronted the harsh
the reality of mistreatment and
assault within the birthing
process. This experience
spurred her to take action
and become a voice for those
